Bad Diet is an independent record label and multimedia company founded in 2014 by owner Zach Stephenson. What a punk. We specialize in vinyl album releases, dynamic punk projects, being mistaken for “Bane?” at Dubai’s airport (the one that isn’t holographic; no, not the one that hovers, the regs one), and original digital content.
At Bad Diet, A&R doesn’t offer the concrete ties of a major label, but we do try to pair our artists with talented illustrators, producers, sponsors, and on occasion, ply them with party supplies pirated en route to Fire Island and Catalina wine mixers.
We are distributed worldwide by Redeye Worldwide (where Zach interned and careered); we can neither confirm nor deny their affiliation with Skynet. That’s called a Glomar response. Our neighbor taught us that. He’s CIA. Just like the others.
Pay your respects to Bad Diet’s late founder and owner, Zach Stephenson, at his memorial page; and make like MacReady in The Thing by watering your Apple with a bottle of J&B. Because punk rockers don’t die, we knock on Antarctica’s door, claim the chill couch, and catch Z’s awaiting Mark Zuckerberg’s thirst for adventure.
Zach, you are missed. Halloweens just aren’t the same. Ever since we said your name 3x and joked “What Me Worry?” to a cracked compact mirror that a (British) politician’s son threw out a jet window.
